(Opening Thoughts about Religion)
Religion: Everybody has to has something to believe in really because without belief that something will get better your life will never be focused on the good just the bad. People always based their lives on Science and letting science do all the work when really there is faith that someone out of this world is looking down upon us and watching every step we make. Religion isn't a thing that people just follow every once in a while, most people out here are paying really close attention to what is going on in their world and what happened based off a book that was passed down and republished over and over.__More Young People Are Moving Away From Religion__: “One-fifth of Americans are religiously unaffiliated — higher than at any time in recent U.S. history — and those younger than 30 especially seem to be drifting from organized religion. A third of young Americans say they don't belong to any religion.”

Question: How does religion Affect people’s lives when interacting with people’s daily do’s?

Buddhism:

This religion is one of the most commonly worshiped religions in the world today. Some of main components that Buddhist believe in is that the ,Buddhism, like most of the great religions of the world, is divided into a number of different traditions. However, most traditions share a common set of fundamental beliefs. One belief of Buddhism is reincarnation, which is the concept that people are reborn after dying. In fact, most individuals go through many cycles of birth, living, death and rebirth. A practicing Buddhist differentiates between the concepts of rebirth and reincarnation. In reincarnation, the individual may recur repeatedly. In rebirth, a person does not necessarily return to Earth as the same entity ever again. He compares it to a leaf growing on a tree. When the withering leaf falls off, a new leaf will eventually replace it. It is similar to the old leaf, but it is not identical to the original leaf. However the extremism of this religion has drastically changed as some of the quotes and analysis will show.

Quote #1:
"Buddhism distinguishes between emotions that are constructive, such as metta and karuna, and those that are destructive: anger and jealousy, for instance."

Analysis:
Buddhism affects our daily lives by controlling both pleasure and anger. In other words, it controls both in love and war. Otherwise, everything is fair in love and war. The average Buddhist lay practitioner accept a set of guidelines for proper living called precepts. Most Buddhist follow the Five Precepts. 1. Abstain from taking life. 2. Abstain from taking things not freely given. (stealing) 3. Abstain from sexual misconduct and lust. (improper sexual behavior, behavior the results in the harming (Physically or emotionally) any being. You, your partner or anyone else.) 4. Abstain from lying and deceit. 5. Abstain from intoxicants, taken to induce mindlessness. Some traditions also have higher sets of precepts. These are generally the Eight Precepts or the Ten Precepts and build upon the five precepts listed above. However, the individual precepts very depending on the tradition.

Quote #2:
"Buddhist culture is perennial and so is as fresh today as it was in the Buddha's time 2500 years ago."
Analysis:
Like the 'rules', the daily routine is dependent on ones tradition or school of Buddhism. However, most schools recommend that practitioners spend time each day "practicing" meditation. I put practicing in quotes, because the idea is that once your practice has matured and you are fully schooled and trained in meditation, you will meditation all day during all activities. At that point in time, sitting meditation will be a small part of your life while all activities, eating, sleeping, walking, talking, working, etc... will all be done in mindful meditation.

Judaism:
Judaism, the first and oldest of the three great monotheistic faiths, is the religion and way of life of the Jewish people. The basic laws and tenets of Judaism are derived from the Torah, the first five books of the Bible.

Quote #1:
"The Jewish people serve God by study, prayer and by the observance of the commandments set forth in the Torah. This faithfulness to the biblical Covenant can be understood as the “vocation,” “witness” and “mission” of the Jewish people."

Analysis:
For all Jews the religion is interwoven into daily life. Waking in the morning means a prayer of thanks, before eating a meal, being aware of charitable works daily - if you see someone hurting, help how you can. Doing things to help the earth recover from man's carelessness. Prayers at night.

Quote #2:
When a Jewish girl is 12, and a Jewish boy is 13, they come of age in terms of their religious duties and responsibilities.
Analysis:
On this occasion, the Bar Mitzvah boy is for the first time called up to read the Torah portion and the reading from the Prophets. In congregations where women participate in conducting the service, Bar Mitzvah girls are also called up to read from the Torah and the Prophets.
Final Thoughts
Today the world hasnt really changed as much. religions are still the same and still doing the same things.
